A National Vision in Coffs Harbour
At the National Cartoon Gallery in Coffs Harbour we see something truly unique emerging on our Australian cultural landscape. Once a ‘hidden gem’ tucked away underground and known as The Bunker, the National Cartoon Gallery is literally ‘rising from the ground’ with a magnificent new gallery currently under construction.
A creative team in Coffs Harbour has dreamed up an exhibition never before attempted, to showcase Australian history since Federation, as seen through the eyes of the cartoonists of the times. Decade by decade, this exhibition will allow students and enthusiasts of all ages and walks of life, to view Australia’s gradual political, social and sporting growth from a whole new perspective.
This unique project will be an asset to the Coffs Harbour community and tourists alike.

What do we need to complete the Vision?
We are now seeking funding support to take us to the finishing line.
This is an opportunity for organisations or individuals, keen to support the arts, to be associated with an unusual and exciting Australian cultural project. The NSW State Government has funded the building and we are now seeking funding to enable creation of this new exhibition.
